Eight people from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) have been detained by security forces when they were trying to enter India through the Indo-Nepal border at Sonauli, SSB sources said today.
The group of eight were stopped by SSB and local police for checking yesterday after they failed to produce valid documents about their identity and were detained, the sources said.
According to the sources, the eight people wanted to take advantage of the new rehabilitation policy (2010) of Jammu and Kashmir government and go there.
Four men, two women and two children were part of the group.
