Elderly woman electrocuted

An elderly woman was electrocuted when she came in contact with a live electric wire near the venue of a cultural function, police said today.
The function was held at Ambala City and the incident occurred yesterday night, they said.
Police said Raj Bala was rushed to local civil hospital where she was declared as brought dead.
They said that there was a huge crowd at the function and chaos prevailed even though they tried to control the situation.
