Elderly woman raped by youth in UP: Police

In a shocking incident, a 70-year-old woman was allegedly raped and beaten by a youth in Mantraja village here, police said today.
The septuagenarian was raped by 28-year-old Dharmendra, who also assaulted her while she put up resistance on Sunday night, they said.
A case has been registered against the accused following the complaint of the victim's son, police said, adding, the accused has been arrested.
Medical examination of the victim has been conducted, they added.
