Eleven villages affected by flood in WB

Atleast eleven villages were inundated today in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district following swelling of two rivers after heavy rain.
Basirhat SDN Sekhar Sen said eleven villages were inundated by the swollen Ichhamati and Jamuna rivers which broke its embankment at Saratnagar along the Indo-Bangla border.
Atleast 300 affected families have been sheltered in five relief camps, he said.
The district administration is carrying out relief measures.
