Vice President Joseph Biden will deliver the keynote address at the event, which takes place on October 3 in Washington, DC, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Page, 28, who came out as gay last year, will be honoured with the award by actress Allison Janney, who co-stars with her in the upcoming comedy-drama "Tallulah".
"Ellen Page has been an inspiration for LGBT youth around the world. Her willingness to speak her truth for all to hear, and to confront injustice against LGBT people, has made her a role model and there is no one more deserving of HRC's National Vanguard Award," HRC president Chad Griffin said.
