The flight was scheduled to depart from here at 4.20 AM.
"Emirates flight 539 developed technical problems due to which it failed to take off on its scheduled time of 4.20 AM," an airport official said.
"There were 274 passengers, excluding crew members, on the flight," airport authorities said, adding that some of them were later sent by another flight at 10.30 AM.
