Employees of HPSIDC, GIC to get 6% additional DA from Jan 1

The employees HP State Industrial Development Corporation and General Industries Corporations would get 6 per cent additional DA with effect from January 1, 2016.
The decision was announced at the meeting of board of directors of twin corporations by Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, who also announced 8.33 per cent of basic salary, DA and Grade Pay as "Good performance Incentive" to employees of SIDC, subject to maximum of Rs 25,000.
Agnihotri said that HPSIDC was also executing major civil works of Education, Technical Education, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Departments. And the corporation had earned a net profit of Rs 8.50 crore during the year 2015-16 as compared to Rs 6.51 crore profit earned in 2014-15.
While presiding over the BoD meeting of GIC, Agnihotri announced 20 per cent provide good performance incentive reward to the employees subject to the maximum Rs 25,000.
Agnihotri said that the corporation has earned net profit of Rs 546.86 lakh during the financial year ending 31st March, 2016 and during the current financial year the corporation had earned a net profit of Rs 797.37 crore till November, 2016.
