In the trailer Hashmi plays a man, who gets the power of invisibility, and turns vigilante to take on revenge from people who have wronged him.
The film bears some resemblance to Hollywood film 'Hollow Man' and 1987 Hindi film 'Mr India'.
'Mr X' has been written by Shagufta Rafique and produced by Mukesh Bhatt.
Besides Hashmi, the film also stars Amyra Dastur of 'Issaq' fame. 'Mr X' will hit theatres on April 17.
