Engg student tries backward body skips to enter Guinness book

: A 19-year old engineering student today made an attempt to enter the Guinness Book of Records by doing continuous backward body skips.
The Guinness record for the feat in one minute was 40 skips and 20 skips in 30 seconds and stands in the name of a 12-year old girl in Australia.
B Shakti, a third year student of SNS College of Technology here broke the record by doing 27 backward skips in 30 seconds and 46 backward skips in one minute
Sakthi has already etched his name in the Limca Book of Records and the Indian Book of Records for his feat.
The attempt was video recorded in front of a large gathering in a mall in the presence of three gazetted officers and would be sent to the Guinness Book of Records, organisers said.
