Engineering student killed in road mishap

An engineering student was killed and another got seriously injured when their motorcycle was hit by an overloaded auto on Khero-Semri road under Khero police station area here, police said today.
Naveed Alam (22) was going to the railway station along with his elder brother on the motorcycle when they met with the accident at Khero culvert yesterday, Superintendent of Police, N Kolanchi said.
While Alam died on the spot, his brother received serious injuries and has been admitted to Lucknow Trauma centre, the SP added.
