"All the Superintendents of Jails should work with dedication to ensuresecurity and welfare of jail inmates as well as staff," Mishra said.
At a meeting chaired by Mishra, he discussed various issues regarding staff in different jails, construction works and security-related matters.
The Superintendents of Jails of Jammu province apprised the DGP of the current problems inthe prisons besides the measures that were taken upfor the safety and security of inmates, a release said.
