Env minister Harsh Vardhan launches app

Union Environment and Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan today launched a mobile application that enables people to better connect with him and provides information about his work.
The Dr Harsh Vardhan app will also live stream events of his ministries and his Chandi Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, besides live streaming the speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The mobile application gives out the detailed work done by Vardhan as a minister.
A five-time MLA from Delhis Krishna Nagar constituency, Vardhan was elected from the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency in 2014. Besides holding charge of Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Environment and Forest Earth Sciences, he is also the Minister for Earth Sciences.

The app also focuses on green good deeds that prescribes involvement of citizens in acts like saving energy, conserving water, planting trees, reuse and recycle, promoting car-pool and use of public transport.
This app offers different ways in which netizens can connect directly with me. It offers options such as send video/photo submit an idea and a chat room, Vardhan said.
