The number of EPFO's active members has now reached over 43 lakhs, said Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mehra today.
Mehra said, 2,09,562 new employees have been brought under the purview of the organisation's social security schemes in the state between April and September this year.
He said that after this increase, the total number of EPFO account holders in the state has increased to 43,03,017.
Mehra also informed that the campaign to connect the accounts of about 1,89,000 EPFO pensioners of the state with Aadhaar numbers is also in progress.
