The Swedish telecom gear maker had reported sales of SEK 2.4 billion in the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
The company follows January-December financial year.
"Sales continued to be strong, mainly driven by investments in mobile broadband infrastructure to support the high growth in data usage. 4G deployments have also started," the company said.
The full year sales increased by 74 per cent to SEK 13.4 billion (about Rs 10,696.8 crore) as compared to SEK 7.7 billion last year.
For 2015, sales growth was driven by increased operator investments in mobile broadband infrastructure and professional services.
"Increased focus on network quality and cost optimisation continued to drive strong sales growth for managed services. Support solutions sales showed significant growth," it said.
Overall, the company reported net sales of SEK 73.6 billion for the fourth quarter of 2015.
"Emerging markets such as India, Indonesia and Mexico remained strong while markets such as Russia, Brazil and parts of the Middle East continued to be weak, mainly due to macro-economic developments," Ericsson President and CEO Hans Vestberg said.
