Ernie Hudson joins 'Ghostbusters' reboot

Actor Ernie Hudson, one of the original cast members of "Ghostbusters" franchise, has been cast in its upcoming reboot.
The 69-year-old actor joins original scream teammates Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd in Paul Feig's update that stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth and Neil Casey, reported Deadline.
Hudson played Winston Zeddemore in the original film series.
The reboot is scripted by Feig and Kate Dippold and slated to open July 15, 2016.
