Escorts tractor sales grow 11.3% in June

Farm equipment maker Escorts today reported an 11.34 per cent increase in total tractor sales in June at 6,946 units.
The company had sold 6,238 units in the same month last year, Escorts said in a BSE filing.
Domestic tractor sales were up 12.23 per cent at 6,890 units as against 6,139 in June last year, it said.
Exports, however, declined 43.43 per cent to 56 units in June this year as against 99 in the year-ago month, it said.
