The movie which was scheduled to release on October, 14, will now hit the theaters on January 6, 2017, reported Variety.
The fifth edition of popular action-horror franchise features Kate Beckinsale and Theo James. It also stars Lara Pulver, Bradley James and Charles Dance.
Anna Foerster is making her feature directorial debut with the film. Cory Goodman has penned the screenplay, with Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi serving as producers.
The series has grossed USD 460 million worldwide. It was started out in 2003 with "Underworld," directed by Len Wiseman starring Beckinsale as the vampire "Selene" who is killing the Lycans (Werewolves), who allegedly slaughtered her family.
