Escorts tractor sales up 9 pc in November

Engineering and farm equipment major Escorts today reported 9.3 per cent increase in its tractor sales in November at 4,706 units.
It had sold 4,306 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales during the month were up 12.2 per cent at 4,691 units compared with 4,181 in November last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company said its exports in November this year were down 88 per cent at 15 units as against 125 in the year-ago period.
