Top ranking shuttlers of the state would be among the 45 vying for the prize money tournament, said ESDBA president Rajiv Sen Gupta.
Addressing a press conference here, Sen Gupta, accompanied by the JBA secretary K Prabhakar Rao, said four teams - Vinayak Shuttlers, Relax Saamshers, Jamshedpur Warriors and Neelachal Masters - would take part in the competition.
The winners would bag a prize of Rs 30,000, while the runners up would get Rs 15,000, they said adding, the competition would be played in league-cum-knock out basis.
Besides, the event would also encourage other district associations to organise such competitions to promote the game in Jharkhand, he said.
