The company had posted a net profit of Rs 35.28 crore in the corresponding period last year, Essel Propack said in a BSE filing.
Net sales on consolidated basis was up 3.52 per cent to Rs 528.03 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 510.06 crore in April-June period of last fiscal.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Essel Propack said the Bombay High Court has approved scheme of amalgamation and arrangement of Whitehills Advisory Services Pvt Ltd with Essel Propack on September 1, 2016.
