Ethopian duo wins First Jio Indore Half Marathon

Ethopia's Angasa Ware here won the First Jio Indore Half Marathon of 21 kilometres in the men category while his compatriot Keneni Kome secured the first place in the women category.
The marathon was organised by Academy of Indore Marathoners on theme 'Clean green and healthy Indore' today.
Ware completed the half marathon in 1 hour, 5 minutes and 25 seconds, while Kome in 1 hour, 18 minutes and 58 seconds, a release from organisers said.
Over 16,000 runners from various parts of the country and world took part in the marathon, which was held in 10 and 5 kms categories as well, besides half marathon.
