: Many parts of Telangana faced oppressive heat wave conditions on Tuesday, with Adilabad sizzling at 45.3 degrees Celsius.
Badrachalam recorded 42.6 degrees Celsius, while Hyderabad recorded 40.8 degrees celsius, the India Meteorological Department said in a bulletin.
It said heatwave conditions prevailed over some parts of Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.
The IMD said heat wave conditions were very likely to prevail over some parts of Telangana in the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thunder showers were very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana, the bulletin said.
