Ex-assistant charity commissioner sentenced to 2 yrs in jail

A court here has sentenced a former district assistant charity commissioner to two years rigorous imprisonment in a 2013 bribery case.
Additional Sessions Judge A S Pathan yesterday sentenced former assistant charity commissioner Arvind Gajanan More, who was posted at Osmanabad, to two years jail term and also slapped a fine of Rs 30,000.
According to the prosecution, More was caught red handed on April 3, 2013 while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 for not implementing the changes in names of Sant Goroba and Shiv Mandir Trust.
