Ex MP Wasim Ahmed admitted to hospital

Wasim Ahmed, a former MP and Congress, leader, has been admitted to the Rammanohar Lohia Hospital with chest and heart problems.
Ahmed, 58, is in the intensive care unit of the hospital, and has received calls from Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh wishing him speedy recovery.
The former Rajya Sabha member, who had suffered an attack of bilateral pneumonia and dengue recently, was admitted to the hospital yesterday after he developed some chest and heart complications, hospital sources said.
