Ex-Super of state gen hospital injured

The former superintedent of Panihati State General Hospital and another doctor were seriously injured when their speeding motorbike skidded off the highway at Titagarh in North 24-Parganas district, the police said today.
"Sixty-two-year-old Dr Bimal Halder who was superintendent of Panihati State General Hospital was seriouly injured in the accident. They were returning from a conference at Titagarh last night and the accident occurred on BT Road," C Sudhakar, DC DD of Barrackpore Police Commissionarate, said.
They were admitted to a local private hospital, he said.
