The 11-day-long "The Everlasting Flame International" exhibition, to begin on March 19, will be held at premier cultural institutes here under scheme Hamari Dharohar (Our Heritage) in collaboration with Union Ministry of Culture and Parzor Foundation, an official release said.
The exhibition is a celebration of history, beliefs, practices and contribution of Parsis, micro-minority community whose contribution surpasses its numbers, the Ministry said in a statement.
"It will showcase a plethora of cultural events spread over a period of more than two months. It will encompass all the elements of the contribution of Zoroastrians and Parsis to the world culture, philosophy and art," it said.
The exhibition will take visitors on a journey from earliest days of Zoroastrianism to its emergence as the foremost religion of imperial Iran. From the shores of Iran to the west coast of India, the maritime journey of Zoroastrians is followed to their settlement in India where they came to be known as the Parsis.
