"Our experience following the alliance with JMM was not good as our coalition partner did not honour it as expected in the state," Bhagat said addressing a press conference here.
Asked whether he was satisfied with the performance of Hemant Soren-headed Jharkhand government, Bhagat replied in negative, stating that the performance of the coalition government was not "upto the mark".
We (coalition government) had a minimum common programme but the Soren government could not perform upto the "expectations", Bhagat said claiming that Congress had already made them aware about the projects needed to be focused on priority basis.
We will discuss the issue with the allies and finalise the date soon, he said.
Congress is a major coalition partner in the JMM-led Jharkhand government and had 10:4 seat sharing pact between Congress, JMM and RJD in the Lok Sabha poll.
Bhagat said the Congress state leadership would honour the opinion of the party workers particularly after having a "not-so-good" experience allying with JMM in the state.
The party workers were not in favour of the alliance with JMM but still the party has joined hands with them to provide a stability and ensure rapid development in the state, he said.
