Hollywood bosses are planning to include the erotic scenes from the bestselling novel by EL James, but many will be too saucy for the planned R rating in America, which allows viewers under the age of 17 to see the film if accompanied by an adult.
However, producer Dana Brunetti hopes to release a racier version which will have a strict over-18s only policy.
"What we're kind of hearing is that they (the fans) want it dirty, they want it as close to the book as possible. We could release the R-rated version, which everyone will enjoy, and then for those fans who want to get a little gritty we could release an Nc-17 (over-18s only rating) version a few weeks later.
The movie, which stars Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, is set for release in 2015.
