Exporters Assn welcomes launching of 'Shram Suvidha'

Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA) welcomed the launching of 'Shram Suvidha' portal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, a copy of which was released to the press, TEA President A Shaktivel thanked Modi for creating a conducive business environment and resolving hurdles one by one for the success of 'Make in India'.
Launching of 'Shram Suvidha' portal, Universal Account Number (UAN) facility for Employees' Provident Fund Organization subscribers, a new labour inspection scheme and unified web portal to check labour law compliances was one among them, he said.
The entrepreneurs were now experiencing a feel good factor and the unified web portal will be helpful to industries as it will not only be a common window for compliances of Central labour laws but also enhance the transparency in labour inspections based on key performance indices and provide an effective grievance redressal system, he said.
