The 'Fashion Police' host was put into an induced coma last week after she suffered a cardiac arrest during a routine operation on her vocal cords. She died on Thursday aged 81, reported The Daily Mirror.
"I think it will be fabulous to die on the operation table because the publicity would keep the 'Fashion Police' re-runs going for years. Plus no one will say, 'How old?'

Rivers, known for going under the knife many times, she also feared she would not sustain another plastic surgery.
"I want more surgery immediately but I think I will probably wait a year because often at this age they put you down and you don't come back, they make you cross your arms just in case!
"It's always a concern that I'm not going to come out of it but it's more important to me to get the work done than my own mortality because I've had a terrific life," she had said.
