Facilities, residence owned by Mantri group raided

Income tax officials today conducted searches at premises of Mantri Group here for suspected tax evasion, police said.
Sleuths of income tax department accompanied by police officials raided five premises including two steel mills, an oil mill, a seed shop as well as a residence owned by the group at Shivaji Putla, a police officer accompanying the team said.
The raid which started today morning continued till late evening.
Income tax officials however, refused to divulge any details about the raid.
