Apart from Modi, Fadnavis also met Union Minister for Shipping Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramvilas Paswan among others.
Fadnavis tweeted that Paswan agreed to extend the date for purchase of 'Tur' by one month.
He also said the Centre had considered the state government's request of delegation of powers and path-breaking decisions for Raigad fort conservation.
"Now, we can do lot more in conserving all forts related to life and journey of our great king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to inspire generations to come," the Chief Minister said.
Master plan for development of Raigad Fort will be approved by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and it will be executed by the Maharashtra government under the supervision of ASI, Fadnavis added.
On February 23, the BJP scored a resounding victory in the Maharashtra civil polls, emerging as the largest party in eight of the 10 municipal corporations while finishing a close second to bellicose ally Shiv Sena in the latter's Mumbai bastion.
