Fake arms licence racket busted, two arrested

Ravindra and Harisaran were arrested while four other members of their gang managed to escape when a police team surrounded them near a bus station.

Six double barrel guns and 25 cartridges were recovered from their possession, they said.

The gang used to get the licences prepared by paying Rs 30,000 and sell the firearms procured through these documents to various parties.
