"Enabling policies should be in place for boosting exports. The government should review the incentives offered under the export schemes to enhance competitiveness in the domestic fan industry for export promotion," Indian Fan Manufacturers' Association President Rohit Mathur said today.
In the domestic production, the association members had registered 45.52 million fans, a growth of 8.18 per cent. During 2015-16, exports have registered a negative growth of 30.15 per cent, he said.
The Association was strongly committed to manufacturing the best cost effective fans around the world in terms of performance, durability and energy efficiency, Mathur said.
