The victim, Khakhnu Saw, was beaten with sticks before he was stabbed to death by the attackers over a land dispute when he was outside his house in the afternoon, police said.
Police have recovered the body from near a pond and sent it for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons on the statement of the victim's son Guddu, police sources added.
