Farmer shot dead by unidentified assailants
A 50-year-old farmer was shot dead allegedly by unidentified assailants here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the farmer was working in his agricultural field at Dabhedi town which comes under the jurisdiction of Budhana police station, SP Ajay Sehdev said.
The farmer's body was found inside a tubewell, he said, adding that the body was later sent for postmortem.
