Fashion fest on January 31 for go green promotion

The third edition of the Coimbatore Fashion Fest will be held here on January 31, an event on eco-friendly theme of 'Go Green'.
Over 20 models and 10 fashion designers will be participating in the fashion fest, as the organisors are bringing the upcoming talents of the city after, Manoj Saravanan, founder of Coimbatore Fashion Fest, told reporters here today.
They will compete with each other for the crown title which will be done in the presence of known celebrities in the fashion field as the fest is aimed at bringing together young fashion designers and models from the city under a single platform so that they could display their designing and performance skills, he said.

Stating that "Coimbatore Fashion Fest - 3, Mr and Miss Coimbatore" rated the top most happening event in the city, he said that the event was a fund raising for the people in need and promotion of Go Green.
GO GREEN promotion is done by using organic cotton fabric in few of ther designer garments, Manoj said.
