The fifth edition of Fashion's Night Out (FNO), previously held in Delhi now debuts in Mumbai on September 5.
"FNO is in its 5th year and for the last few years we have held the event in Delhi. We are now taking it to Mumbai on request from our readers and some of the brands we work with," says Oona Dhabhar Marketing Director, Conde Nast India, which is organising the event.
The annual event brings together eminent luxury fashion brands and renowned Indian designers all retailing under one roof, to extend exciting offers, engaging experiences and exclusive merchandise on September 5 at Palladium, High Street Phoenix.
"This event gives us the chance not only to collaborate with Indian designers, but also give back with all proceeds from Vogue initiatives at FNO going to charity," says Dhabhar. The magazine Vogue India is the chief sponsor of the event.
"We believe that there is definitely a market for fashion and luxury in Mumbai...," Dhabhar says.
The profits from the sales at FNO will be donated to Women IndiaBUILDS - a Habitat for Humanity's initiative that allows women with means from around the world to help women in need in India.
The event would have a pop-up store selling over 900 products by over 95 designers and 'The Black Clutch Project' a unique collection of black clutches by over 45 renowned designers will be showcased in an installation.
Designers who have participated in the Black Clutch Project include Raghavendra Rathore, Shantanu and Nikhil, Sabyasachi and Nachiket Barve among others.
