"What is important for the new year will be to ensure that we fast track all our actions in respect of programmes, overcome the challenges in the matters of implementation and ensure complete transparency.... That is the focus," Sangma told reporters at the sidelines of a meeting here.
The government has taken several initiatives and effort is on to fast track all these initiatives so that people can see what is being done, he said.
Some of the initiatives are in health and education sectors while an approach has been taken to ensure sustainable livelihood for the people in village in order to prevent them from moving out of their villages, the chief minister added.
