Father and son die in septic tank

A man and his minor son were suffocated to death in an under-construction septic tank in a village under Kursaila police station area in Katihar district today, police said.
The incident occurred when four-year-old Bhanu Kumar accidentally fell into a septic tank while playing near it and his father Santosh Sah jumped into the chamber to rescue him, they said.
The two were lifted from the tank by locals and taken to a primary health centre where doctors declared them dead, police said.
