Sital Bera (50) was killed and 30 others including his relatives and villagers were injured when the vehicle, carrying about 50 people, overturned in the village in Howrah district on their way to Barda village in the same district to attend the reception ceremony one day after the marriage, police said.
All the people of the marriage party were coming from Palaspai village in Hooghly district.
The driver of the vehicle fled, but the vehicle seized, police said.
