Duraiswamy and his 25-year-old son were arrested after the 21-year-old woman complained that her father-in-law was sexually harassing her and when she told her husband, he slapped her and asked her to go to him, police said.
They were arrested under IPC section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and provisions of prevention of sexual harassmenet act.
