FC Goa sign Keenan Almeida, Debabrata Roy for ISL 3

FC Goa today signed full backs Keenan Almeida and Debabrata Roy for the Indian Super League football season three this year.
While Debabrata Roy will ply his trade for FC Goa for the third successive season, local lad Keenan Almeida retained his place this year after a string of eye catching performances last season.
Sukhvinder Singh, CEO of FC Goa, said: "We are delighted to re-sign Keenan and Debu for the coming season. They fit into our style of play very well and provide solid options at the back. They were excellent every time they turned out for us last season and we are expecting more of the same this year. They are both key components in our efforts to build a title winning squad this year."

After being the most capped player in Season 1 with 15 starts, Debabrata Roy had a fairly consistent second season where he started in seven matches and put in some solid performances at the back, especially in the absence of national team players.
India international Debabrata Roy said: "I am delighted to sign on with the club for the next season. I thank the club for the faith they have shown in my abilities and hope we can go that one step further and bring home the title this year."
Keenan said: "I am delighted to be part of a promising project here at FC Goa. While last season was a little disappointing on a personal front due to my illness, I enjoyed every minute of my time on the pitch and can't wait to don the colours of the club again.
