Kerala Government has inked a pact with Federal Bank to receive all payments due to various Government departments through the bank's payment gateway.
Federal Bank has set up online payment gateway for making remittances of various fees to the departments of Kerala state.
The system was launched by Finance Minister Thomas Issac, in an event held here today, a press release said.
The payment gateway facility enables the customers and non customers of Federal Bank to make payment of fee and other dues to 43 government departments using their debit or credit cards.
Payments under 430 head including RTI fee, exam fees, license fee, excise duty, police clearance certificate fee, remittances by PWD and other contractors, fee for purchase of stamp paper for registration purposes, purchase of wood from forest depot are some of the payments that can be made online with ease.
