"The telephonic conversation between Jayalalithaa and Mamata Banerjee, the two political superpowers of southern India and eastern India is an indicator that the Federal Front is a growing force. It will grow with every passing day," Ahmed said.
Asked whether Jayalalithaa will be joining the Federal Front or there will be a post-poll alliance between the two parties, Ahmed said "let's see and wait for few days."
The West Bengal Chief Minister had yesterday said she had no problem working with Jayalalithaa if she became the Prime Minister after the elections.
