Fee hike issue: Committee to meet tomorrow

District administrations of Gurgaon and Faridabad have formed a committee to resolve the issue of fee hike by private schools and it will meet tomorrow for the first time in Gurgaon, a senior official said today.
D Suresh, Divisional Commissioner, Gurgaon, would head the committee which includes District Education Officers of Faridabad and Gurgaon, representatives of Haryana Parents Association and representatives of Association of Private Schools, he said.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had directed Faridabad Deputy Commissioner Dr Amit Kumar Agrawal for early resolution of the issue after the Parents Association had protested against the fee hike before him recently.
General Secretary, Haryana Parents Association, Kailash Sharma said the committee has been constituted under the provisions of Haryana School Education Act 1995.
