"People had approached in quite a big number and 99 per cent had been served within the two working days," an official statement said quoting Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The ministry launched the 'twitter seva' service on April 21 last year to address issues and grievances of startups, exporters and importers, and other stakeholders.
She said this initiative reflects the government's commitment to respond to citizen's queries.
The government is widely using the social media to disseminate information related to its programmes and policies.
