Dancer Shakti Mohan is set to make her acting debut with choreographer-director Remo D'Souza's next and she feels lucky to get launched by him.
Shakti will feature alongside dancer Salman Yusuff Khan in the movie, which is about ballroom dance.
"I feel great to work under Remo sir. I am very excited about the project. The film is about ballroom dancing and I have started the rehearsals," Shakti said in an interview here.
The 30-year-old TV star was in the capital to promote the second season of reality competition show "Dance Plus", which she judges alongside choreographers Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande. Remo is the 'maha judge' on the show.
The three judges along with their respective teams compete among themselves, while Remo makes the final judgement. The whole team from the first season has been retained in the second instalment.
The dance reality show winner said being part of a show which features such great talents doesn't pressurise her.
"I just enjoy what I do, I don't really strive for perfection, I don't feel pressurised by the competition."
The choreographer is all praise for her contestants, whom she will be mentoring on the show.
"All the dancers on the show are extremely talented and unique in their own style. I am very happy with the contestants of my team. As a captain I get to design their performances, which I love to do."
Shakti, who was an an assistant choreographer in "Dhoom 3", feels fulfilled as a dancer and says she would love to explore new things only if it is dance oriented.
"As a dancer I feel fulfilled and would want all dancers to be proud of themselves. I would love to pursue other things only if they are related to dance, as I have always been passionate about dance."
Shakti was accompanied by two contestants of her team, Sushant Khatri and Piyush Bhagat, who will be seen competing with other team members on the show.
