The first look unveils a thrilled view of a soldier glaring at the beast, that emerges out from dark and mist, while he is seen standing atop a giant skull.
Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the film features Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L Jackson and Oscar-winner Brie Larson in the lead role.
"Our Kong is by far the biggest Kong that you've seen on screen. So far, that's pretty accurate, Vogt-Roberts told Entertainment Weekly.
The filmmaker of "The Kings of Summer", Vogt-Roberts, further explained, "Peter Jackson's Kong was around 25 feet. The '33s Kong ranged between 25 feet and 50 feet, I want to say he was 50-plus feet when he was on the Empire State Building. He varied in size dramatically! The '70s Kong was somewhere between them."
