The process of filing of nomination papers will begin with an official notification and will go on till November 22, Rajasthan Chief Election Commissioner Ram Lubhaya said today.
Scrutiny of the papers will take place on November 12 and withdrawal of nominations will be allowed till November 14. EVMs will be used in the polls and results will be announced on November 25, he added.
Polling will be held in six municipal corporations of Jaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur and Bharatpur, 18 municipal councils and 22 municipalities, the CEO said.
Special Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh said fool-proof security arrangements are being made for free and fair polls in the state.
